30 Seconds with Wilson Springs Hotel.

From busking to jambands to exploring music festivals, Wilson Springs Hotel combines camaraderie, their love for the South along with elements of rockabilly & hot rock to create a new sound. Named after an old Virginia cabin from the 1700’s, Wilson Springs Hotel was formed after the merge of two bands during the COVID-19 crisis. Wilson Springs describes their sound as a mix of hot rock, bluegrass, rockabilly, folk rock, Appalachian rock & indie folk. When asked about their first-time experience at Rooster Walk, the Richmond-based band was excited to be able to play four sets at the festival this year.

“We’re excited to put on a show that folks want to see; the people have been really welcoming here.”

Hailing from the Old Dominion state, source of inspiration for the band include roots in the Shenandoah Valley, jam circles, tunes from their parents and other music festivals. Wilson Springs Hotel looks forward to releasing a record by the end of this year along with other singles, songs, shows and tours.
